“Educating the poor is more than just a numbers game,” says Shukla Bose. She tells the story of her adventurous Parikrma Humanity Foundation, which brings hope to Indians by looking at the past with frightening statistics and focusing on treating each child as an individual. Shukla Bose is the founder and head of the Parikrma Humanity Foundation, a non-profit that runs four excellent schools for poor children.

I really enjoyed this ted talk because it showed that every child deserves an education and how Shukla brought that education oppurtunity to many children living in slums. As she says she teaches 1001 children all the way to junior college showing that if you want to make a difference in the world, you must nurture and educate the children so that they are able to carry on a change and show that places like india (where there are so many slums) can be successfull in terms of their education rate and become more and more successfull in the future and have an impact on an international level.

I really liked this TED talk because it tells us how everyone should have the equal right to go to school and how Shukla put in a lot of effort to give an education to those kids who don't have enough money for an education because they're poor. Also, it tells us how we should give education to those people in different countires like India so they can make a difference and actually get a job and live your life at least in a decent way. So, I think this ted talk should be in the top 5.

I agree with this TED talk because I do think all children around the world should deserve good education and show the world the potential they have. Because these children are smart and creative they just need a chance to show it

I think this TED talk should not be in the top 5 because it didnt really make me excited, or inspire me to make a change. it was just her talking about what she has done, which is good and all, just a bit boring. Other TED talks i really enjoyed because i agreed with the topics and i related to the talks, with this TED talk i found it too boring and i think other teenagers would agree if they had a choice about for example learning about how to make a change vs. this ted talk. In how to make a change, it engaged us because t was funny, this is just too boring.

I really liked this TED talk because it tells us how everyone should be able to go to school but it did not make me want to make a change because the topics she talks about is what everyone should already know
