The wide range of photos of various Hamlets that you provided demonstrated that this is indeed "the" role that all actors strive to play! I was taken back to my university days when I saw the photo of Kevin Kline - our prof showed us that version and I remember really enjoying it (but I can't seem to find it to share with my students now). Your Top Ten didn't include the David Tennant (Dr. Who) version! I really like his as well. I myself have seen three Stratford productions of Hamlet - with Colm Feore, Paul Gross, and Ben Carlson in the role, and loved it each and every time (OK, really liked Paul Gross :)
Your collection of famous Hamlets offered insights into why the part is so coveted, as well as the wide range of those who have played it and what made them successful. Hard copy of your evaluation is available from me.
